Well I don't think either side will be jumping for joy nor will they be down in the doldrums after that first innings. England could perhaps have scored more but just as each batsman was looking to really push on they got out. South Africa made it difficult for them in the latter part of the innings and England will need to learn from that. We could be in for a close game here, England are going to have to be good in the field and with the ball in hand to defend this score.

Tahir goes first ball, he's guided it straight to Joe Root at first slip. Stokes has two wickets in two balls and England complete a dominant victory here at the Oval. Expectations had been set high but these eleven men sure lived up to them today. After leaving some runs out there with the bat England were electric in the field, setting the tone from the very first ball. Each of the bowlers knew their role and executed their plans perfectly, the pressure proving too much for South Africa in the end.
