  • Hasan Ali (Pakistan) has scored 73 runs from 39 balls faced in ODIs in 2021 for a strike rate of 187.2 – the highest of any player in the men's format this year (min. 2 innings); he has scored 30+ runs in three of his last five ODI innings.
  • Tom Latham is set to captain New Zealand for the 14th time in ODIs; his ODI batting average of 57.7 as captain is the highest of any player in the format when playing as captain among those who have led the Black Caps at least 10 times.
