It's all over. Vernon Philander takes his sixth and his career best figures, in front of his home crowd. What a performance from him and the rest of the bowlers to bowl out India for 135. There must have been a few nerves in the home camp when Ravichandran Ashwin and Bhuvneshwar Kumar had a good partnership going but once one wicket fell, the rest were like dominoes.

South Africa go 1-0 up in the series and if the rest of the Tests are anything like this it will be a cracker. Both teams had to fight hard at various moments but in the end it was the South African bowlers that came out on top against the very dangerous Indian top-order. Brilliant work by de Kock, coming up to the stumps to keep Ashwin in his crease and immediately it pays dividends.
