Welcome back for the second innings. Netherlands Women are chasing history as their openers - Heather Siegers and Phebe Molkenboer - walk out to the middle. And it will be Sadia Iqbal to bowl the first over. Heather to face the first ball. Here we go...

  • .

    ... THE RUN CHASE ...

  • .

The chase awaits - With Heather Siegers back at the top of the order, the Netherlands have the resources to chase this down. But with the prospect of a maiden Women's T20 World Cup win, nerves could yet play a part, and they will have to keep them in check. Pakistan, meanwhile, will feel that if they can strike early, they can seize control of the game. A crucial Powerplay awaits, with both sides eager to bow out of the tournament with a victory. Stick around as the chase is coming up in a bit.

  • .

A quick word - Iris Zwilling says the message for the entire tournament has been to hit the deck hard and avoid floating the ball up into the slot. She is pleased that they managed to execute those plans in this game. On how challenging the tournament has been for the bowling department, she calls it an interesting one. She says the Netherlands have been playing on very good batting pitches throughout, and that is not the kind of experience they are used to back home. She says it was something they had to adjust to pretty quickly, adapting both to the batters they were facing and the grounds they were playing on. She is pleased they managed to restrict Pakistan to a low total today. On chasing 127, she says she is still running on adrenaline from the bowling innings. She backs the batting unit fully, saying they have shown throughout this tournament that they are more than capable, and feels the target is well within arm's reach.

  • .

A finish that never came - It was a sedate start from Pakistan after being asked to bat first, before Ayesha Zafar and Gull Feroza helped them finish the Powerplay strongly and carried that momentum into the middle overs. With two set batters at the crease, Pakistan looked well placed to launch in the final phase, but the Netherlands struck at regular intervals to derail their plans. Even the promotion of Fatima Sana did not provide the desired impetus, while Gull Feroza watched wickets tumble at the other end as the late flourish never quite arrived.

  • .

Pakistan end on 126 - A job well done by the Dutch to finish strongly. At 88/1 with 9 wickets in hand and 7 overs remaining, Pakistan looked on course for a much bigger total, but 38/5 in the final 7 overs meant that they had to settle for 126.

  • 19.6

Good finish from Zwilling and the Netherlands after having conceded 200 or more in their last three matches. Length-delivery, outside the off stump. Tuba Hassan throws her bat at it but gets no connection. A dot to end the over! Pakistan Women finish on 126/6.

  • 19.5

In the air... falls safely! Good length, around off. 90.7 kph. Feroza swings her bat across the line, but mistimes it straight up in the air. The ball luckily lands in the vacant mid on region for a single.

  • 19.4

A touch short, on off. Hassan clears the front leg and looks to loft it over mid off, but mistimes it off the toe end. Chips it in the air, but it lands just short of Robine Rijke at mid off. One run.

  • 19.3

FOUR! Welcome runs for Pakistan. Back of a length, just outside off. Tuba Hassan creates room to access the off side. Tries to smash it through cover, but gets a massive outside edge and the ball shoots through to the deep third fence.

  • 19.2

DROPPED! Robine Rijke has got it all wrong. A good length ball outside off. Tuba gets under the ball and slams it uppishly off the toe end. Rijke at mid off goes for the catch with fingers pointing upwards, but gets her feet in a tangle and loses her balance. The ball bursts through her hands and rolls away. Two runs.

  • .

Tuba Hassan comes out to the middle.

  • 19.1
Saira Jabeen c Robine Rijke b Iris Zwilling 5 (4)

OUT! CAUGHT! An ideal start to the final over for the Dutch. Shaping away a touch, full and on off. Saira swings at it but gets a top edge, and it is skied towards mid off, where Robine Rijke backpedals and settles under the skier to take a reverse cup catch. From being 102/2, Pakistan are now 118/6.

  • .

Iris Zwilling to close out the innings.

  • 18.6

Length ball around leg. Jabeen gets underneath the sweep and mistimes it off the top edge. The ball pops up in the air and drops just short of short fine leg. Just a single.

  • 18.5

FOUR! A boundary after 16 balls for Pakistan. Goes full and around the off stump. Jabeen skips out and hammers it over the fielder at mid off for a boundary.

  • 18.4

A big, lengthy appeal for LBW, but not given. Babette de Leede doesn't waste any time reviewing it. Length ball around middle, sharply turning back in. Jabeen hangs back and looks to pull, but misses it on the inside edge, getting struck high on the back thigh pad. De Leede sends it upstairs. Nothing on UltraEdge. The ball is clipping the top of the leg stump on umpire's Call. Saira Jabeen survives by the skin of her teeth.

  • .

Saira Jabeen is in at number 7.

  • 18.3
Iram Javed st Babette de Leede b Heather Siegers 2 (5)

OUT! STUMPED! Feroza stays stranded as she loses partners at the other end. Heather spots Iram advancing out of the crease and fires in a length ball, outside off, drifting away. Javed is far out of the crease, throws her hands at it but gets beaten on the outside edge. The keeper, Babette de Leede, does the rest behind the stumps with Javed nowhere close to the crease. Pakistan Women are 113/5, with 9 balls left in the innings.

  • 18.2

PUT DOWN! Hannah Landheer is the guilty party and Heather is not happy with the effort at all. Lands it full and in front of the sticks. Gull Feroza goes for the slog sweep, but gets her timing all wrong. The deep square leg fielder is a bit late to charge in off the ropes, dives forward but cannot cling on to it as the ball pops out of her hands. One taken.

  • 18.1

Spins in from off, on a length. Gull backs away and hammers it back to the bowler.

  • 17.6

Overpitched, on off, Feroza carves it to the left of cover for a single. A boundary-less over for Pakistan.

  • 17.5

Angled into the batter, on a good length. Iram tries to put it away with a heave, but inside edges and the ball squirts towards square leg for just a single.

  • 17.4

Full, around off, Gull moves across the stumps to play the paddle shot, but it goes off the inner half to the right of short fine leg for a single.

  • 17.3

Slightly fuller than the previous ball, Iram Javed advances and smashes it on the bounce to the left of mid off for a single.

  • 17.2

A touch shorter on middle. Gull Feroza miscues the pull shot, but it lands safely in the outfield, and rolls on the bounce towards deep square leg for a single.

  • 17.1

Play and a miss! Back of a length, just over off, nipping in. Gull Feroza stays put, goes for a square cut. Swings and misses as the ball zips past her outside edge.

  • .

    Hannah Landheer (2-0-14-1) returns.

  • 16.6

Short once more, outside off, Javed mistimes the shot off the back foot and it rolls to short cover. Another successful over for the Netherlands. Just 5 runs from the last 2 overs, with two wickets.

  • 16.5

Dropped short, on off, Iram Javed is rushed on the back foot and punches it to cover.

  • .

More action to come - Up next in Bristol is a high-stakes clash between West Indies and Ireland, with the first ball scheduled for 1.30 pm GMT. A Windies win will seal their place in the semifinals and shut the door on both Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Those two sides, therefore, will be hoping Ireland can pull off an upset. Our build-up is already up and running, so switch tabs and join us there. Cheers!

  • .

The skipper of Pakistan Women - Fatima Sana says she is really proud of her team and credits each and every player for the way they turned up for this game. She singles out Ayesha Zafar for praise, calling her a senior player who knows how to take responsibility and saying she did that really well today. She also has kind words for Gull Feroza, saying she batted brilliantly. On her own contribution with the ball, she says as an all-rounder, she tries to give her best and hopes it goes in the team's favour. About their struggles while batting, she is honest, saying there is plenty to work on and there will be a lot of discussions once they get back home. She is confident they will put in the work and come back as a stronger unit.

  • .

The captain of Netherlands Women - Babette de Leede says the bowlers were excellent and did a really good job of restricting Pakistan to 126. She admits it was frustrating with the bat. Mentions that playing against some of the best teams in the world is crucial for the side's development and provides invaluable experience. Babette describes their maiden Women's T20 World Cup campaign as an incredible experience, says they will take plenty away from it, and believes this is only the beginning for them. She points out that only a couple of players in the squad are professional cricketers and, considering that, says she is immensely proud of what the team has achieved.

  • .

Time for a chat with the captains...

  • .

Set up, but not cashed in - Earlier, after being asked to bat first, Pakistan got the better of the middle phase of the innings, but the finish left much to be desired. The 79-run stand between Gull Feroza and Ayesha Zafar laid a decent platform to kick on, but once the Dutch broke that partnership, they burst through with regular wickets and shut the door on any late flourish.

  • .

No way out - In pursuit of 127, the Netherlands began with promise as Heather Siegers got them off the blocks quickly before Pakistan hit back by removing both openers. From there, Pakistan's spinners took complete control of the middle overs and never allowed the chase to gather momentum. Babette de Leede fought a lone battle, but even she could not break free as Pakistan's spinners kept a firm stranglehold on the innings and put the game beyond the Dutch.

  • .

PLAYER OF THE MATCH - Gull Feroza takes home the award for her unbeaten knock of 63 runs from 52 balls. Feroza is all smiles, and she says it was an important knock not only for her but also for her team. When asked about the pitch, she says the pitch was a little tricky, and the plan was to stay in and rotate the strike. When wickets fell, she says they had to adjust their approach on the go, but they made the most of the bad balls they received. On the mindset coming into the game, she says the goal was simple - to win and finish the tournament on a good note, and she feels this victory means a great deal to the group. She signs off with a warm message to the fans, thanking them for coming out and backing Pakistan throughout the tournament.

  • .

Pakistan sign off with a win - Made to work hard with the bat, Pakistan left a few runs out there, but their bowling unit more than made up for it with a clinical performance. The disappointment is evident on the faces of Babette de Leede and her teammates as they walk out to shake hands. It was a commendable effort from the Dutch with the ball to restrict Pakistan to 126, but they just could not find a way out of Pakistan's spin choke. Still, there is plenty for them to be proud of from their maiden Women's T20 World Cup campaign, and they walk over to acknowledge the travelling Orange Army for their unwavering support.

  • 17.6

OUT! BOWLED! You miss, I hit says the Pakistani captain. Sana gets the job done for her side with a triple-wicket maiden. She gets her third wicket as she has torn apart the Dutch lower order. Pakistan Women win by 37 runs and end their tournament with a comprehensive win. Good length on off and middle from Fatima. Caroline de Lange stays leg side of the ball, looking to flat bat it down the ground. She gives it a big swing but gets nowhere near it, and the stumps are splayed behind her.

  • 17.5

Goes for the yorker but it comes out as a low full toss, on the pads. Caroline fails to get it away and wears it on the pads.

  • 17.4

No hat-trick. Keeps it full and straight, on middle. Caroline de Lange presents the full face of the bat and blocks it out.

  • .

Caroline de Lange walks in next. A slip in place for the hat-trick ball.

  • 17.3

OUT! KNOCKED HER OVER! Two in two for Fatima and she is guiding Pakistan to a victory now. She simply keeps the line of attack on the stumps and lands it quite fuller. Silver Siegers backs away to make room, swings wildly at it, only to miss. The ball beats the bat and crashes into the stumps behind. Netherlands Women are on the brink as they are 89/9, needing 38 runs from 15 balls.

  • .

    Silver Siegers is in next.

  • 17.2

OUT! BOWLED! Sana dismisses her opposite number through a sizzling delivery. Lasers in a yorker on off at 103.6 kph. De Leede stays deep in the crease and looks to dig it out but the bat simply does not come down in time. The ball sneaks through and crashes into the base of the off stump. Fatima lets out a big roar and punches the air in delight. That should be the game for Pakistan as the Dutch skipper departs after a painstakingly scratchy knock.

  • 17.1

Back of a length, on top of leg. Babette de Leede goes across to play the scoop shot but misses to connect.

  • .

Hannah Landheer walks out to bat. Pace back on through the skipper Fatima Sana.

  • 16.6

OUT! ZWILLING IS RUN OUT! Fortunes favouring Pakistan as a complete mix-up cost the Dutch another wicket. Low full toss from Zafar and this is driven hard and straight by de Leede, but Zwilling is right in the firing line at the non-striker's end and takes a blow on the left thigh. The ball ricochets to the left of the bowler. De Leede wants the run immediately. Zwilling is still wincing and barely moves but sacrifices her wicket to protect the skipper. Zafar is onto it in a flash, feeds Muneeba at the stumps, and that is all she needs to whip the bails off.

  • 16.5

Cannot connect yet again! Nicely tossed up, full and around off, Babette de Leede goes down to play the sweep shot, but the ball dips, drops, turns away and bounce over her bat.

  • 16.4

Beaten! Short and outside off with extra bounce. Babette de Leede goes for the late cut, but is beaten on the outside edge.

  • 16.3

A lot fuller, on off, Iris drives it along the ground to long off for a single.

  • .

The new batter is Iris Zwilling.

  • 16.2

OUT! CAUGHT! So after a couple of errors in the field, Jabeen takes a stunner. Short and wide outside off from Zafar. Overdijk rocks back and cuts it away, but cannot keep it along the ground and hits it uppishly in front of square. Saira from cover-point moves swiftly to her left and flings herself into a dive to complete a very good catch on the edge of the ring.

  • 16.1

FOUR! Very clumsy. A schoolboy error in the deep! Flighted on off. Overdijk steps out and drills it with the spin towards wide long on. Fatima Sana on the boundary misfields badly, letting it slip between her legs and into the fence behind her.

  • 15.6

Good running! Full on leg. De Leede advances and looks to swing it into the leg side but gets a leading edge that drops safely into the vacant mid off region. Two quick runs.

  • 15.5

IN THE AIR AND DROPPED! Nashra Sundhu makes a mess of that chance. Drops it full on middle and leg, sliding in. Babette de Leede sits down to slog it over the fence, but gets it mistimed toward deep mid-wicket. Sundhu runs in off the ropes, but cannot put the brakes on in time and the ball pops in and out of her hands. Two runs taken.

  • 15.4

Too full, looped up wide outside off. Frederique Overdijk moves across and drills it down to long off for a single.

  • .

It looks like Sadia Iqbal has pulled a muscle in her left leg. The physio is out to have a look.

  • 15.3

Full on the pads, Babette de Leede steps out and whips it to deep mid-wicket for a single.

  • 15.2

Good length outside off, Overdijk guides it to the right of short third for a quick run.
