6.34 am GMT (12.04 pm IST) - What a brilliant session for Sri Lanka! The sheer willingness from Dinusha and Nuwantha to simply dig in, block out everything else, and grind through the hard yards is genuinely impressive. More so given how early both still are in their Test careers. The pair has not only worn down the Indian bowlers but have also added exactly 100 runs in 31.2 overs, swelling the lead to 116. India will be thoroughly disappointed with how the session unfolded. Jadeja came agonizingly close to a breakthrough right on the stroke of Lunch, but it was not to be. And the longer the Islanders continue to bat, the more that frustration is only likely to deepen for the visitors with the post lunch session set to begin at 7.10 am GMT (12.40 pm IST).

A bit of turn, slower through the air, outside off, on a length. Nuwantha pads it away, and it brushes the front pad before going towards slip. That will be Lunch on Day 5.

Looped up, on off. Sonal steps out and almost yorks himself. Digs it out to long on and gets to the other end.

More air given, full and on off. Nuwantha gets to the pitch of the ball this time by getting a good stride in and drives it to deep cover for one. Sri Lanka now lead by 110 runs.

A beauty by Suthar. Full and inviting the batter on the front foot, around off. Nuwantha leans across to smother the spin but it rips past the outside edge.

Dinusha looks to be struggling with some cramps. He limped off while completing the run off the last ball. He gets rid of his gloves and pads and is now down on the ground with the physio out to check him. Meanwhile, the Indian team has huddled up with KL Rahul, the vice-captain, giving a pep talk to his teammates. Shubman Gill is off the field for now and can be seen in the Indian dressing room. Sarfaraz Khan is out as his substitute. Right then, Dinusha is back on his feet. Good to resume with about 18 minutes to Lunch.
